Pastor Doug grew up in Maryland and has lived in three Maryland counties. He met his wife, Diane, in college choir; they have been married and singing together for 37 years. Christ saved Doug at a young age after his Sunday school teacher explained the gospel; Doug understood his need to be washed clean by Christ. God has blessed Doug and Diane with three sons, all of whom are married, and four grandchildren. Doug has been a member of Hope Bible Church since 2000. He has primarily served as a deacon, teacher, small group leader, and in music ministry at HBC. Doug works as a systems engineer and enjoys fellowship, key changes, exploring, gardening, watches, bike riding, and knowing God and His word more deeply.
