IFCA International

We are a member of the IFCA International—a non-denominational fellowship involving about one thousand independent churches in the U.S. alone. These churches are independent, and conservative evangelical in doctrine, stressing expositional preaching, Biblical counseling, God-centered worship, the building of strong families, and separation from false religious movements.

Affiliation with the IFCA International provides us with opportunities for cooperation and fellowship with like-minded churches.

Shepherd's Fellowship

We are also a member of the Shepherds’ Fellowship, a ministry begun by Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California that seeks to edify, support, and equip pastors and other church leaders to be effective in their ministries. This Fellowship provides our leaders with many resources, including contacts with like-minded pastors across the country.

Mid-Atlantic Bible Fellowship

Hope Bible Church is also a part of the Mid-Atlantic Bible Fellowship, a fellowship of like-minded churches in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.

Past Affiliations

Early in our development, our church received some financial support from Camp Springs Community Church in Prince George’s County (arising from our contacts in the local IFCA organization), and from Congregational Christian Church of L.A. and Calvary Baptist Church in New Jersey (arising from Pastor Leake’s contacts). These churches stood with us as a church plant for several years, helping us to get established. For that we are extremely thankful.
